  • Guest：Basic but clean and tidy, shower looked new and bed comfortable. Great location with sea view. Reasonable price, would stay again. Felt clean and tidy. If had to have any negative, tv was small but room big so can't blame them too much. Wifi good and free.
  • Guest：Sea view was not a sea view due to dirty windows and bird poo all down window, haven’t been cleaned for a while. Two people, two nights two coat hangers !! Wi fi not working after numerous attempts, shower not working properly, no air conditioning, milk only left for one day not replenished. Nothing deluxe about the room. Have stayed in Whitby a number of times this was worst ever, would not recommend.
  • Guest：Ignore the bad reviews We stayed in room 9 with a sea view. The room and stairs were very clean and tidy. Bedding was freshly laundered as were the towels. Only complaints were I had to creak my neck to see the telly and a mirror next to the hair dryer would have been nice. Top tip I used the microwave door as a mirror to straighten my hair. We had a great weekend and I would go back.
  • Guest：You get what you pay for. ￡40 for a night is nothing. Stayed in other places in Whitby far nicer but also more expensive. Clean, warm with everything we needed. Yes, they could invest money and make it a really nice place but there's worse, and we were happy with what we got for the price we paid.
